For those of you that are interested I would like to tell a little about myself. As you can probably tell by the Geezer part of VNGeezer, I am no spring chicken. I am 53 years old but most of the time I feel more like about 21. I am happily married and have two grown children and three grandchildren.
I consider myself to be a gear head. I like all kinds of motorized transportation. I have worked as a mechanic all of my life. I am employed as an equipment shop lead technician for the largest fleet operation in Arizona.
My dad was also a mechanic and I learned a lot from him. I can remember he always did everything himself around the house and I am the same way, can’t stand to hire somebody to do something.
On the other pages of this blog I have featured my vehicles that I am proud of, but they are not all of what I am about. I was born in Kentucky, my family moved to Arizona about five months later due to health reasons. I grew up in the sixties and seventies and I am very much a child of those times. I spent several years playing bass guitar in a band that was mostly a bar band but we did do some recording and took a stab at the big times.
Another thing that I am proud of is I have been alcohol and smoke free for more than 18 years and that’s when things started improving for me and my family.
I can’t think of anything else to say right now, but I can always ad something when I think of it.
How about this: I consider my self to be patriotic, I love the USA. The only thing that would make me consider leaving is if Hillary were to get elected president. There I said it. I probably wouldn’t move but I feel better now.
